United we stand divided we fall, the power comes only through organization. so, the principal duty of Hindu is to unite the Hindu society. The birth and exponential growth of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is aimed at the same unification of Hindus in India. No other organization has attracted such large numbers of followers, lakhs of them making social work as their life’s mission. The followers today form a strong presence in social, cultural, educational, disaster-relief task, developmental, political and other fields.

Goal of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sanghwas not to free India from the British Rule but to unite the Hindus. The founding father of RSS understood that due to the lack of unity among the Hindus, we faced caste differences and Hindu-conversions. Which finally led to a genocide of Hindus in Malabar and Moplah riots.

After Independence, we all knew that Hindu (85 % of the population of India) received nothing but huge killings on the east and west front of divided India.

Still today, we don’t understand what type of freedom we got. India was separated into Pakistan on the name of Muslim appeasement. But still, we have J&K, a mini-Pakistan who wants a secession in the name of Anti-Hindu.

In recent, time we already had seen the massacre and loot of Hindus in Jammu & Kashmir in the late 1990s and the incident of the burning of CarSevaks in Godhra.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and its Political Manifestations:

Almost every party in Indian is haunting with the corrupt and bad idealism. Except BJP and some regional parties like Shiv Sena, all parties have fractured, transient and biased agenda, philosophy and the propaganda. These parties are like crocodile’s tears. When the election season come, they started to breed their new manifestos. In the name of secular, socialist and Marxism they try to attract more and more votes from the minorities, Muslims and scheduled castes. But in the name of vote, they sold their soul. They sacrifice the very essence of the nation and want to share political ownership of the country.

Sangh is a dynamic Power-House that used to kindle the sparkles in the heart and soul of BJP. The very basic political manifestation of RSS is BJP.  National character, uncompromising devotion to the Motherland, discipline self-restraint, courage, and heroism are different pillars of Sangh.

History:

The seeds of Hindu national renaissance were established by Dayananda Saraswati and Vivekananda, Aurobindo Ghosh and Bal Gangadhar Tilak. They believed that India was not slaved by the British but also by the Afgani, Irani and the Ghazis. They had outlined various reasons of Indian slavery and gap & misunderstanding between different castes in Hindu was the main reason behind aliens’ power in India.

Keeping aflame the freedom-spirit with strengthening of the cultural roots of the nation were two fundamental lessons of these leaders. After their demises, RSS was established and had taken the flag of Hindutva solely.

Why we needed Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh like institutions:

The Eternal spirit and the Hindu culture are the breath of Hinduism. Hinduism is the synonyms of Hindustan. So, it is clear that the soul of Hindusthan is protected if we nourish the Hindu culture. The legends say that the Hindu culture is so true, flexible, tolerance and rationale that it had encountered many attacks from Parsian, Muslims, and Europeans in different centuries but the very essence of Hinduism was never worsened.

Today, Hinduism is facing dangers from conversions,love-jihad and minority appeasements. Now, the time comes to understand, if the Hindu culture falls in Hindusthan itself, the geographical entity of Hindusthan will cease to exist. Mere geographical boundaries don’t make a nation. We should be so vigilant and united that no one would dare to put an evil eye on the honour of traits and cultures of Hinduism.

Rusting of the nation’s integrity in the name of secularism, economic bankruptcy, conversions from the Hindu through money & muscle-power, increasing trends of secession. RSS has medicine for every diseased.

It was to such a national self-oblivion that a cure had to be found. It is an irony of India’s government that – even after paying the ultimate price of separation of motherland – the Hindus have been treated as second-degree citizens.

So, there is indeed a strong need for an organization to unite Hindus and to do reform in Hindu society so that freedom of the nation and the security of Hindus can also be sustained.

The birth of the Sangh was instituted by a mental, cultural, spiritual, scientific and economic onslaught by alien rulers for long decades. The Sangh had come with the complete boycott of these beliefs, faiths, and principles.

The Sangh means strength to strength: Vision of India’s historical glory, based on the cultural and spiritual legacy attracted the response of the millions of Indians. It asks for developed faith in the oneness of the human race and the basic divinity of the human being.

It is the duty of the government to boost the goals of Indian philosophy and be supportive to the survival and progress & national integration.

If the integration among the people remains existed, the independence would sustains.

Working of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

Sangh aims is to carry the nation to the highest of glory, through organizing the people and the protection of Hindu Dharma.

The swayamsevak considers the Hindu society itself as Janata Janardana. Any service rendered to this society, accepting nothing in return, is for him the worship of his god.

In a society divided on caste, class and language lines, the greatest service from a social worker to his community will be to keep intact the very social fabric. The oneness of the society being an article of faith with the swayamsevak, it becomes all the more important for him to strive for social consolidation, especially when the self-seeking politicians try to drive a wedge between diverse groups for their own selfish ends, and anti-social elements take advantage of such sensitive situations.

Jammu & Kashmir, with its oppressive Muslim-majority character, has been a headache for our country ever since Independence. The appeasement of the Muslim, has been the bane of India. Too much freedom and lack of discipline spoil the child, so has been Kashmir, a problem created out of our own folly.

Apart from the Kashmir issue, the Sangh has all along been in the forefront in each and every national campaign, be it “Ban Cow-slaughter” campaign of 1952 or the mass collection drive for the Vivekananda Rock Memorial at Kanyakumari in 1963. The RamaJanmaBhoomi temple, sponsored by the Sangh Pariwar.

Twenty-first century, Century of Hinduism

Capitalist in West, from 16th to mid-20th century aggressive industrialism has proved its own undoing. The market based lifestyle seems no longer viable as supply, demand, and market mechanisms have resulted in fast depletion of natural resources. At the other corner of world was communism which had started to walk itself into the capitalist path.

Both ideologies based on the survival of the fittest, exploit the nature, individual and its right. So, the world is now looking for a viable & universally acceptable life-vision. Hinduism alone has this vision. Hinduism highlighted the symbiotic relationship between man and nature. Man is regarded as a part and parcel of the whole and not as a superior creature to the rest of world.

Hindu has recognized mutual dependence and complementary as the pillars of life.

After 70 years of Independence, India is still a poor country. It is because the foreign looters had culturally induced poverty in our psyche through endlessly repeating “you are poor“, “you are backward“, “you are uncivilised“and ‘you are primitive”.

So, the need of the hour is to recreate the self-confidence of the people of India.

Sangh has been propagating this cultural rejuvenation and re-assertion of Hindu values based on self-knowledge and self-control.
