Why Should We Build a Ram Mandir in Ayodhya?

Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

India is known by Mandir, Ramayan, Mahabharat, Yoga, Nirtyam, Gau, Ganga, Gita, Gayatri, Krishna, Parshuram and overall Lord Shri Ram. Every religion should have the right to worship their respective deities at a site that is of religious importance.

Going to temples with my parents since my childhood. In my village, everyone greeted each other in the morning, even strangers as ‘ Jai Ram Ji Ki‘. Mahatma Gandhi died saying ‘Hey Ram‘.  Ram is ‘Purushottam’ the Maryada Purushottam. Who always stand by doing good. In his kingdom everyone was happy, the kingdom was known as Ram Rajya. Still, we want Ram Rajya. Ram Naam Satya hai is the ultimate truth of life and can be heard as the final recital of a person’s life. So with this narration, I want to assure you how important Lord Rama has been in our life.

Once veteran leader L.K. Advani said in a rally ” If Muslims are entitled to an Islamic atmosphere in Mecca, and if Christians are entitled to a Christian atmosphere in the Vatican, why is it wrong for the Hindus to expect a Hindu atmosphere in Ayodhya?

RAM mandir is a symbol of trust, faith, feelings, emotions, and beliefs of millions of people. We need our Ram Mandir. It isn’t about secularism, fraternity or humanity. It’s the matter of faith of billions of Hindus, it’s our right.

हनुमान भगवान राम के क्यों प्यारे हैं

Babri Masjid comes from the name of the Mughal emperor Babur, who ordered it’s construction. Before 1940′s, it was called Masjid-i-Janmasthan (mosque of the birthplace), including in the official documents such as revenue records. This truly suggests that it was the birthplace of Ram. The Babri Mosque was a structure built with a feeling of hatred, destined to be destroyed someday.

Ram Mandir

The most irritating thing is that in Ayodhya, there are no Muslim populations but an organization registered here and is fighting the case for Babari Masjid. Those aliens if not converted from original Hindus, what truth they are unable to digest and too to vomit, claim that they are originally from this land, while, Hindus who have been living here from unknown times, are being asked to submit the proof of Lord Shri Ram?

What is the story of Ram Mandir?

The Disputed area that is the demolished Babri Masjid is the place of Bhagwan Ram’s birthplace. There are so many historical, religious proofs are there which gives the temple’s past evidence. Many travelers from the corners of the world had mentioned about the Hindu’s believes of Ayodhya. Archaeological survey of India had also mentioned various evidences that deepen the beliefs of Hindus on the disputed spot. There was a huge temple at the place. But in 1528, Mir Baqi, Babur’s generals, destroyed this temple of Rama and built a mosque at the site. This gave birth to an extreme rivalry between the Hindu and the Muslim. The destruction was with the motive to disrespect the Hindu religion.

In the mid of contentions, somehow both the communities were doing their prayers alongside. The Muslims used to go inside of the monument and the Hindus stayed outside of it and prayed Lord Rama.

For the next 250 Years, the beliefs of Hindus were murdered millions of times in the name of force-conversion, taxes by the Mughals. Once, Mughals had lost its prestige and power, the Hindu claims of the temple had sharpened in the surrounding. In 1853, nirmohi akhara occupied and claimed the structure. In 1855, the premises were divided between Hindus and Muslims.

Ram Mandir

In 1885 the Nirmohi Akhara filed a petition in court of Faizabad to ask permission for Hindus to enter the place and worship Lord Rama and consider the land as the land of the temple.

One year later, the court came with an answer that stated: It is most unfortunate that a masjid should have been built on land specially held sacred by the Hindus, but as that event occurred 356 years ago, it is too late now to remedy the grievance.

In 1989, Rajiv Gandhi allowed the permission for laying the foundation for the temple.

Hindus wanted to worship their god where it is installed, but the installation is covered under Masjid. So, later the court in 2010 divided the Babri Mosque into three parts one for Hindu, one for Muslim and one for Nirmohi Akhara.

Recent progress in the case:

  • 6 August 2019:  The 5-judge Constitution special bench, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, of Supreme Court started final hearing on the case.
  • 16 October 2019: Final hearing in the Supreme Court ends. The bench reserved the final judgment.  The bench granted three days to contesting parties to file written notes on ‘moulding of relief’ or narrowing down the issues on which the court is required to adjudicate.

Ram Mandir

Evidence of Ram Mandir:

Babari Masjid has no cultural or historic connection with India, it is the sign of barbarism and invasions of Islamic forces who had come here from Middle-East and tried to end the sign and culture identity of India? They already had destroyed many country’s identities.

It is well known to all that Muslims started to come to India after 712 AD. They with the power of the sword tried to omit the culture, sign, and history of India. They looted our People, Palaces and the Temples, and then destroyed our thousands of temples forcibly. We can see those demolished evidences in Mathura, Kashi, Ayodhya, Sambhal and many more.

Muslims of India want proof from Hindus, for a temple that is thousands of years old and a matter of faith. There are proofs:

  • Writers Shykh Muhammad Nami & Maulvi Abdul Gaffar have also written that Babur destroyed Ram temple to construct a mosque.
  • Excavations conducted by ASI in 1970,92 & 2003 mentions the presence of a temple under the mosque.
  • Excavations conducted by A.E. Cunningham, A fuhrer & B.B Lal accepted the presence of a temple at the disputed site.
  • Carbon dating by Birbal Sahni Research Institute of Paleontology, Lucknow says the settlement of Ayodhya dates back to 2000 B.C.
  • Tulsidas’ Doha Sataka mentions the destruction to temple for erecting a mosque.

We know, these proofs may not be 100% scientific today because of thousands of years of history. Historic proof gets lost in course of time and that’s why we rely more on faith than history. This problem is well exposed in the public domain and so are using against Hindus. Muslims know it better than the mosque was built illegally.

Why Muslims had destroyed Temples of Hindu

In many historic Hindu places of worship, we find Masjid standing side beside with a temple, to put salt to injury on Hindus.

  • Their intention was to destroy Hinduism, by destroying important temples which were centers of Hindu faith.
  • Another reason was to steal the gold and other temple wealth like robbers.

The actual dispute is on the autonomy of place, where god statue is installed.

Reasons to build “Ram Mandir”

It holds a sentimental value to Hindus. There have been a lot of temples destroyed by the Gazis, Gauri’s, Tughlaq, and Mughals. But we don’t want to restore all of them, but just one which holds utmost value to Hindus.

Belief & Faith: The majority of Hindu believe lord was born there if someone want scientific evidence. Then it’s written in many scriptures. So you can say why the same place? This is not a coincidence but a truth that is always TRUE. Most believe lord Ram born there it can’t be scientifically proven. Muslims believe Muhhamad go to heaven through a flying horse and Jesus born from a virgin mother. We know scientifically that horse can’t fly and virgin girls can’t be mother. It all about belief.

Legal Reason: ASI said there was a Hindu temple before Babri mosque. So, according to Article 300A of the Constitution, the State can acquire land in public interest and give compensation. That land is under Uttar Pradesh government, and this is protected by schedule 9. So, the State government can take it from the Muslim and build a huge temple.

Economic Reason: If we built Babri mosque in Ayodhya who would go there, nobody. Why? Because it’s not religiously more important as other mosque like Jama masjid, Ajmer Chishti Dargah, and Hazi Ali.

If we built Ram Mandir, then it is the birthplace of Lord Ram. From all around the world people will come. It will give a boost in Ayodhya’s economy. Can you imagine what would be Katra without Vaishno Devi temple, nothing?

  • Okay, this might be a little bit random, but I saw your blog and had to ask, are you interested in a translation job? I know I’m a stranger but I felt like doing a good deed today by alerting a couple people that a good position has opened up here: https://bit.ly/TranslationJobsHiring and they pay sometimes even $40/hour. Okay, they won’t always give that amount, I only made around $300 last week, but it’s part time and when times are tight, every little bit helps. Hope it helps, and my apologies if you’re not interested. Have a great day/evening!
